Jobs I Dreamed About After My Grandma Told Me That Artists Make No Money

A7 (7.4 cm × 10.5 cm) · 8 pages · black & white · printed on blue 80g paper · folded by me with ♥

When I told my grandma that I wanted to be an artist when I grew up, I was met with the shattering words, “Well, but that doesn’t make any money.” So I instantly threw away my dream and came up with alternatives instead—and they were entirely based on the media I consumed.

SPOILER: None of them worked out, and I am an artist today!

Perfect for:
– people who need inspiration on what to tell their grandma their dream job is
– immigrant parents who have run out of prestigious job ideas
– people who are curious about what kind of media I consumed as a kid

Please note that each zine is printed, folded, and cut by hand at home, so small variations and imperfections may occur. These little differences are part of the handmade process, making each zine unique.
